Let Millheim Honey Company take care of the hard work of getting your colony started. Our established honey bee colonies are already well on their way to thriving, so you can skip the early buildup phase and jump straight into active hive management. Each colony includes a mated, marked 2026 queen and a strong, healthy population of worker bees.

Your Established Hive Includes:

• Painted 10-frame Langstroth brood box

• 8 frames of drawn comb containing brood in multiple stages, stored resources, and a laying queen

• In-frame feeder for syrup support

• Matching bottom board and migratory lid

Pickup Details

This product is pickup only. Once your order is placed, I’ll email you when your colony is nearing readiness. There’s no need to select a pickup date at checkout — once the colony is prepared, you’ll receive a calendar with available pickup times so we can schedule what works best for you.

Quality & Care

MHC bees are raised without the use of chemical treatments, and our queens are selected for disease resistance, calm temperament, and strong colony behavior. Whether you’re new to beekeeping or expanding your apiary, we’ll provide care instructions and management tips to help ensure a smooth start.

Refund Policy (Important)

• Purchases of established hives are refundable prior to March 1, 2026, minus a 10% processing fee to cover colony preparation, planning, and scheduling.

• After March 1, 2026, all established hive purchases are non-refundable, as colonies are actively built, maintained, and prepared for pickup.

• Responsibility After Pickup: Millheim Honey Company is not responsible for the condition of the colony after pickup, including during transport or installation.

• Please review all provided transport and installation instructions carefully to ensure the success of your colony.
