Shipping Information

Domestic Shipping (United States)

We proudly offer shipping within the United States only. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Standard shipping times vary by location but generally range from 3–7 business days.

International Shipping

At this time, we do not offer international shipping. For international inquiries, please contact millheimhoney@gmail.com to discuss potential options.

Shipping Charges

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight and destination of your order.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information to monitor delivery progress.

Shipping Carriers

We work with reputable carriers, including USPS and UPS, to ensure safe and timely delivery.


Bees & Beekeeping

Pickup-Only Policy

The following beekeeping-related items are pickup only and will not be shipped:

  • Nucleus colonies (Nucs)

  • Established hives

  • Queen bees

Pickup will be scheduled at the time of purchase, and we will coordinate a convenient date and location with you.


Apitherapy Bees Shipping Policy

Apitherapy Bees are live worker bees and require special handling and seasonal shipping considerations.

  • We typically ship Apitherapy Bees during the spring and summer months, from March 1 through November 1, when weather conditions are safest.

  • During this period, we offer express shipping, including weekend shipments, to help ensure safe and timely delivery.

  • Outside of this shipping window (November 1 through March 1), Apitherapy Bees may still be shipped if the customer selects shipping at checkout. By doing so, the customer acknowledges and accepts the increased risk of bee mortality due to cold weather.

  • Bees shipped during winter months may arrive deceased. Apitherapy bees can still be used for a short time after death.

  • No refunds will be issued for winter shipments of Apitherapy Bees.

  • Refunds for Apitherapy Bees will only be considered during the spring and summer shipping season, when death rates are historically very low.

For best results, we strongly recommend local pickup whenever possible to ensure optimal bee health and proper handling.

Shipping insurance is included with each Apitherapy Bees order. If a package is lost in transit, we will work with the customer to arrange a replacement or refund.


Refund & Return Policy

Shipped Items (Full Refunds Available)

For non-bee products that are shipped, we offer a full refund under the following conditions:

  • You contact us within 15 days of receiving your order

  • You email millheimhoney@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return

  • Products are returned in their original, unopened condition

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method after inspection.


Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Email clear photos of the damaged or defective item along with your order number to millheimhoney@gmail.com

We will assess the issue promptly and arrange for a replacement or refund when applicable.


Refunds for Beekeeping Purchases & Services

Nucs, Established Hives, and Queen Bees

  • Purchases are refundable prior to March 1 of the year they are scheduled for pickup, minus a 10% processing fee to cover preparation, planning, and scheduling costs.

  • After March 1 of each year, all nuc, established hive, and queen bee purchases become non-refundable.

    • For example, 2026 nuc purchases cannot be refunded after March 1, 2026, regardless of circumstances.

Beekeeping Services & Education

The following services are refundable with a 10% processing fee to cover preparation, scheduling, and operational costs:

  • Beekeeping classes

  • Consultations

  • Mobile honey extractions

  • Bee removals
